Les Mills and Me was a web comedy series designed to raise the profile of the Les Mills brand with global consumers of the popular group fitness-to-music classes provided by Les Mills International.
18 short episodes were produced, distributed via popular video sharing platform YouTube and supported on a community website: www.lesmillsandme.com
Les Mills and Me celebrated the fun side of getting fit. Ana and Ness, two Les Mills group fitness fans, join forces to get their non-gym going friend Kim to join them at the gym. They create a YouTube music video ‘Come to the gym Kim!’ featuring iconic moves from all eight Les Mills group fitness-to-music classes. Flattered, Kim decides to join them, but she’s no pushover. Over the series we witness Kim’s growing enjoyment for the classes that her friends Ana and Ness love so much.
The Gibson Group was contracted by Les Mills International to write and produce the series, create the supporting website and content, develop the online distribution strategy and manage the rollout of the series for 13-weeks between February and May 2009.
The series created an authentic presence for the Les Mills brand within major social media platforms YouTube, Ning, Twitter and Facebook.
