The Strip follows 30-something Melissa as she tries to balance her new role as a male strip club proprietor, with the demands placed on her as a mother, daughter, friend and lover.
After her life is turned upside down, an up-and-coming corporate lawyer decides to leave the rat race behind and set up the country’s classiest male strip club. Set in the capital city of Wellington and starring Luanne Gordon (Interrogation, Hope and Wire), and featuring a young Taika Waititi (Thor, JoJo Rabbit) - The Strip is about a woman rediscovering her worth, herself, and having a lot of fun along the way.
